Pearl the Fish

Character story: 

Pearl was born in the deepest part of the Moonreef lagoon. On her head grows a tiny flower with a pearl in its center, a rare pearl blossom.

Legend has it that this flower appears once every century and has the power to make fading coral bloom once again. 

Pearl loves swimming through the lagoon in her own little world humming songs only she seems to understand. But she does love to blabber about her day often talking faster than anyone can follow. Somehow she doesn't notice the glow of her flower or the way corals bloom when she swims past, she's always thought her flower just glows when she gets excited. Just by being herself, pearl makes the entire lagoon feel alive.
