Edgar the Grumpy Frog

Edgar is the kind of frog who always looks like someone just told him bad news. His frown is famous, but even more famous is the little orange-shaped bag he drags everywhere. What’s in it? No one knows for sure, and Edgar isn’t about to tell. Some say it’s full of snacks, others swear it’s rocks, but one time it made a suspicious quack noise, so honestly… who knows.

He may grumble and huff at everyone, but he’s never actually seen without that bag. He brings it to naps, to dinner, even to the pond. Ask him nicely, and he’ll just rumbles, “Mind your own business.” But catch him when he thinks no one’s looking, and you might spot him pulling out his little treasures like shiny pebbles, crumpled wrappers, maybe a cookie he’s been “saving.”

Sure, Edgar may look like he’s annoyed at the world, but truth be told, it wouldn’t feel the same without him and that mysterious orange bag stomping around.
